Dr. Piulats serves as a Group Leader in Cancer Oncology at both the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) and the Institut Català d’Oncologia (ICO)—two leading institutions in the fight against cancer and other critical diseases.

A renowned medical oncologist specializing in prostate cancer, immunology, and ocular melanoma, Dr. Piulats brings extensive experience in research projects and clinical trials aimed at developing novel therapies. His passion and dedication are evident in his mission to improve patient outcomes for some of the most challenging cancer types, including rare tumors for which current treatments remain limited.
