Omniscope is proud to welcome Dr. Andi White, PhD, as our newest advisor. Dr. White, currently leads Business Operations & Strategy for the Healthcare Industry Solutions Accelerator at Microsoft, where she drives innovative solutions at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
A clinically-savvy Ph.D. with two decades of diverse healthcare experience, Dr. White, has demonstrated success across all aspects of commercialization, in both start-up and Fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Dr. White was with One Medical, where she led the development of employer- and channel-based strategies for the tech-based, national primary care practice. Andi served as Associate Principal, Consulting with Sg2 (a Vizient company), leading scoping and delivery of life science and industry projects for a range of global organizations, a role she was promoted to following overachievement as a dedicated strategic advisor to the Sutter Health Ambulatory Division through Vizient’s Non-Acute team. Before Vizient, Dr. White held healthcare leadership roles in both large corporations and start-up companies, creating innovative and lucrative strategies that delivered successful growth- and/or acquisition-based outcomes, repeatedly. While with GE, Dr. White was selected as a high potential leader and was trained as both a Change Acceleration Process (CAP) and FastWorks (aka Lean StartUp) Coach, acting as a facilitator of cross- functional teams and speeding up the transition state of innovation and process improvement on healthcare projects.
Dr. White on joining Omniscope:
“We have long known that immune response and the biochemical and molecular mechanisms associated with those processes are truly a cornerstone to the development of effective cellular therapies for associated maladies. I am excited to join Omniscope as an advisor, helping to unlock the secrets of immunological response to stress and disease and ultimately, improving the human condition. This is the future of personalized medicine, now.”
Dr. White’s corporate experience is bolstered by her years in the San Francisco start-up community, where she participated in the commercialization of several life science companies. Eureka Genomics (EG) was the culmination of that experience, where Dr. White single-handedly orchestrated all aspects of commercialization for the company, achieving the five-year exit strategy in three years, with Affymetrix acquiring EG for $15M in 2015.
With a Master’s/Doctorate in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and Postdoctoral research experience at UC Berkeley, Dr. White has a true passion for the science behind healthcare and the promise of connected data in driving the future of better patient outcomes.
